We spent Christmas Eve at the home of Jeremy & Rebekah Hall with a bunch of other folks...American & Peruvian. It is customary to stay up until midnight and begin celebrating Christmas with fireworks and a meal. We began shooting fireworks at about 5 PM and had our meal at 10:30. At midnight we shot some more fireworks and then jumped in the VW bus to ride to a lookout where you can see the whole city. There were fireworks going off all over the city.
