Our church has recently made contact with a children's home here in Arequipa. We have visited the home twice so far. The house parents have given our church permission to pick the kids up on Sunday mornings. The first time we picked them up, there were 28 kids that came to church. The second Sunday, there were 31 kids that came.

This is a picture of Katie with Jesus. She fell in love with him on the second visit. His parents left him in the street when he was 8 months old. This broke Katie's heart. She cried all the way home in the taxi. She came in and told us that she wanted to adopt this little boy...
good news is that the adoption papers are already in the works for him to be adopted by a couple from Spain.
I can't explain the joy that I have over the opportunities that Katie & Josie have already had on the mission field. What a blessing to see the Lord working in their hearts and giving them a love for the Spanish people.
