We did it!! We finished language school on Saturday, September 25th, almost exactly one year from the day we started. And, yes, we do know that although we have finished the program, we are far from being fluent Spanish speakers. We must continue to practice, practice, practice. We know what they say..."Practice makes perfect!!" But...it sure does feel good to have finished our classes!!
Yesterday, our teachers asked us to come to class one more time. They gave us a graduation party. Each of the Spanish teachers and other students spoke a few words about their desire for us as we take the next step in our ministry. It was a really special time.
I am going to miss the classes and the fellowship!
