Omega Baptist Church Organization Service

Omega Baptist Church was officially organized as a church on Tuesday, April 20th. There were over 100 people in attendance for this service including pastors from many of the churches that have been planted through the Gardner's ministry here over the past 15 years.
50 people signed the charter to be founding members of Iglesia Bautista Omega. There were 2 young adults baptized that night. Bryan, one of the young adults that was baptized, was saved last Saturday at a youth meeting. He is a player on the Omega fubito (small field soccer) team. By the way, our team won the championship!!! The other young adult baptized at this service was a young lady named Faye. She is an 18 year old Scottish girl who is here in Peru for 7 months working at a public orphanage. She and her friend Jody just happened to come by the church one day. After visiting for several services, one night they went to the home of Jeremy and Beka Hall. The Halls stayed up half the night witnessing to the girls, and Faye accepted Christ as her Savior. She was very excited to follow the Lord in Believer's Baptism.
It has been so exciting to see how the Lord has brought people in to this newly planted church. We can't wait to see what the Lord is going to do with this great group of people.
